- Hi. Thanks for visiting my blog. I recently discovered the sport of cycling at the ripe old age of 44, and I created this blog to share my journey as I train for the three century (that's 300 miles for you non-cyclists) Make-a-Wish Foundation ride being held in July. This ride is fondly referred to as the "WAM" or Wish-A-Mile ride, and it attracts cyclists from all over the country. It is the primary fund raiser for the Michigan chapter of the Make-a-Wish foundation.
